Apart from a mistake made in the initial application, they said I was a tenant instead of a homeowner, everything went to plan and apart from when the power had to be turned off for about 20 minutes, we would not have known they were there. I bought ten spare roof tiles, as I was warned they may break some, and they only broke one, which was a good result. The system is now pushing up to the label production and waiting for Origin to finish off the meter set up.

The quality of install is great. However, their scheduling team and post install support lacks. I’ve had multiple onsite service calls cancelled (after the booked time). Installers arrive 2 hours later than booked and you don’t receive calls or notice from the installer team in advance - you have to chase them up. They seem to think we are home any day or time they specify. You take time off work to allow for install or repairs, but they don’t factor that into their customers. A “sorry” isn’t enough when you’re messed around like this.

I had a very disappointing experience with Online Air and Solar. They installed my solar panels and assured me that they would arrange for an inspector to visit the job site within 10-15 days. However, it's now been 4 weeks, and I still haven't heard anything from them regarding the inspection. To make matters worse, I’m currently paying for both electricity and the solar panels, but the system hasn’t even been fully checked yet. Their lack of follow-through and failure to complete the job as promised is incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to their unprofessionalism and failure to fulfill their commitments.

I would give no stars if it was an option
I am very disappointed in the service I have received. As my solar has not been working since the 27 December 2024. When I call your offices and select option 2 or 3 my call just continues to ring out and no one answers and funnily enough when I select option 1 for new installs my call always gets answered by someone in the air conditioning department who informs me you weren't back from holidays until the 13th or 14th on January. After that date I started chasing you up and continuously got the run around by people saying they will call me back but no one ever did.
Eventually got someone to help and confirmed the inverter was buggered and under warranty and again was told I would hear from you about what was happening but I received nothing so I again had to chase it up. I got told you were waiting for a response from Growatt I was given a number and was told to chase up Growatt myself. After contacting Growatt I was told the inverter was not in stock. This is the second time that we have had a problem with an 8kw Growatt inverter when you installed it the first time it came out of the box faulty and had to wait 2 weeks for one due to none being in stock.
Growatt advised us it was delivered to your factory on Wednesday 25 February at 12.30pm and I waited until Thursday 3pm to call as I had not heard from you to be told that someone would check and call me back and once again no call back at all. When I started to call late the next day I received a text message that I have to wait until March 20 before I can get it installed which means I have had 3 months of peak sun with my solar not working. And as you know because I have solar on my house the power company charges me a higher rate for electricity that I use and I’m using all their power and none of my own.
I called them to say I was not happy and was told to email them with my complaint and once again I have had no response.
They are quick to install and get paid by the rebate and me but the after install and warranty service is appalling and leaves you frustrated and angry.
I would not recommend using this company for the your solar needs.

These people know there stuff they give you options to really satisfy your needs I wanted the split system ubove the old fire place but I didn't want the outdoor unit on the same side of the house as it will impact on the drive way so they arranged and advised me that I can have it on the other side of the house witch was out of site 😀 and it is within the specified range loved it and it works perfectly.
They also turned up on time and I was surprised how little time it took to complete. 👍🙂

Callum and his team did an excellent job. Arrived absolutely on time. They were efficient and friendly as well as very tidy. All the packaging was removed and everything cleaned up before leaving. Clear instructions provided in using the system. Would definitely recommend them.

AC SPLIT SYSTEM INSTALLATION REVIEW Dec 2024
As a returning customer for the 3rd time, once again I highly recommend Online Air & Solar.
I called the office on Mon 2nd Dec to make an enquiry and a visit was booked for the next day, where we discussed the options available for my needs, quote given (fair price) my only stipulation was I required installation before Xmas (big ask I know, especially as how busy they are) several calls later it was organised (if I didn't mind the installation being over several days/possibly a Sat, I said I will rearrange my schedule to fit in with whatever is needed). Units delivered and installed Fri 6th and power connected Mon 9th first thing = exactly 1 week from initial enquiry call. That's what I call excellent service and everyone involved in the process were very professional, courteous and friendly. 100% recommend Online Air & Solar.

Again the installation guys were great, professional and friendly - arrived unloading gear bang on time at 0730am.
Showed me how to get the mobile app working and explained everything perfectly.
The Battery unit was installed very neatly and even with the safety pole, it is very unobtrusive.
They took all the packaging away so didn’t need to dispose of anything and even vacuumed up after finishing.
Highly recommend.
ps: the time difference between Panels + Battery installation was because initially I was only going to get Panels, then later changed my mind !

The team that did the installation were great, very professional and friendly - albeit there was a slight delay in the installation process due to COVID - install started 01 Aug (but solar panels not delivered) rescheduled for 4th, then 5th, then eventually the 9th and installation completed.
19 Aug Solar fitting inspection/approval completed.
They would have lost a star as there was a bit of a break down on communication between the office and the a/c dept, when I had an error with my invoice - numerous emails and phone calls later it was eventually sorted, ironically the error was in their favour.
As one of the companies owners took the time to contact me directly apologising for the communication glitch and that he would look into their admin and a/c's processes to improve/prevent this glitch occurring again, they regained the 5th star.

While the team were slightly more expensive to others the value add was great and gave me peace of mind that I have an excellent solar system installed. Poor communication and management of scheduling. Booked in for a service and cancelled at the very last minute. I was asked to reschedule to a new day and time with a confirmed date and time.
Technician did a no show on the day.
Wasted my time and disrupted my workday (twice).
Edit: Updating my review from 1 to 3 stars after the owner, Robert, personally reached out to apologise and explain the situation. He made an effort to address the stuff-up and clarified that the job was sub-contracted to DGB Refrigeration. Unfortunately, DGB Refrigeration was unable to commit to the job and caused scheduling problems, which resulted in wasting everyone's time.
While I appreciate Robert's apology and efforts to resolve the issue, the poor communication and scheduling failures by DGB Refrigeration reflect poorly on OA&S as their chosen subcontractor.

I had retrofit battery installed to store excess energy from existing solar system and partial backup of the house, as have experienced multiple day outage in the past. My experience is mixed. Negative was I had taken time off work for the install (and other preparations) due to the power and internet outage, but the company however rescheduled my original appointment before the appointment date without notifying me (no missed calls, emails, sms, etc). Since the appointment was meant to be 7:30AM I had no way to contact their office until they opened and by 10AM received confirmation they would not be coming. On the positive side, when the rescheduled appointment happened the installer was great, friendly and took the time to explain the installation. Too early to comment further, but looking forward to getting rid of my petrol generator soon 🙂
My recommendation for others to avoid my situation, would be to call ahead leading up to your appointment to make sure it is still going ahead for set date.

Excellent Service & High Quality Workmanship. Resh and the team were amazing especially after I spent nearly 1 year of investigating which batteries I would get installed and asked so many questions. I had many issues from other installers giving me BS, but Resh gave me honest information and never became pushy just to get a sale. On the day I got my 2 Tesla batteries installed, the team were amazing, again so helpful with all my questions and explaining all setups aspects. Their quality and finish was first class. my pv generation and battery levels are not showing on sma sunny portal or origin account. OAS was prompt in making an appointment(thru origin), on-time at appointment, technician pleasant, but ineffective in solving my problem. unfortunately the matter is still unresolved. see attached photos.

I have been a customer of Online Air & Solar for a couple of years now to help moving away from gas appliances. About two years ago they installed a ducted split-system air conditioner (heat pump) in our house to replace the gas heater. This was the best upgrade to house and I am very happy with the purchase. The Online Air & Solar team is very professional, friendly and helpful. Their support is responsive and excellent in case there is a small or major problem. I had the system serviced just a few weeks ago and this was professionally done like always. I definitely recommend Online Air & Solar.

Initially, we had our solar installed with the team at Online Air & Solar. We were extremely happy with the installation and service in general, everyone involved was really helpful and professional, from Tanvir to Rick and the team.
So naturally, after our old hot water system packed it in, we didn't hesitate to seek out OAS again, and this time, it was even better. From Thursday's night when we found our hot water died to the phone call to Tanvir the next day, we had our brand new heat pump installed by Saturday's afternoon. We were beyond belief as we didn't expect to have done so much sooner.

So naturally, after our old hot water system packed it in, we didn't hesitate to seek out OAS again, and this time, it was even better. From Thursday's night when we found our hot water died to the phone call to Tanvir the next day, we had our brand new heat pump installed by Saturday's afternoon. We were beyond belief as we didn't expect to have done so much sooner.

I had quotes from SolarQuotes. I went with Online Air and Solar for 20 kW of Enphase batteries (4x 5 kW units), with a VPN plan through Nectr.
They were floor and wall mounted indoors. Online Air and Solar made an effort with the aesthetics of the install, which I really appreciated as we recently renovated. Their guys were polite and efficient.
As for the Enphase batteries, they weren't the cheapest but I was looking for the LFP chemistry for longevity and I also felt that the Nectr plan was excellent value.
All up, very happy with the final sequence of SolarQuotes to Online Air and Solar and Nectr.

Online air & solar supplied & installed my system over 5 years ago. I contacted them due to a warranty is with one of my inverters. I rang them yesterday to book in a technician to install the new replacement parts that arrived in the morning. That afternoon they sent me a sms to confirm the installer will be out tomorrow (next day) between 10:30am - 12:30pm. The installer arrived on time & successfully completed the job. Extremely happy with this company from initial install to 5 years later warranty works. Big thumbs up. 👍

This company was very efficient for call backs when we showed interest in getting solar panels. Once quotes were finally set after a lot of back and forth the jobs were booked and then cancelled up to 3 times because the part needed was not in stock.

We knew that this was the company to go with from the outset. Tanvir, one of the consultants was very knowledgeable and really understood our brief. The installation took place as planned and the team was efficient and tidy.
Other companies suggested that installation on a property like ours was going to be problematic- it was a 70’s unit with terracotta tiles. It was absolutely fine.

At the beginning of summer we decided to get a solar and battery system, our original installation date was late November 23, after several cancellations our panels we installed on Dec 30, the panels couldn't be turned on at this point due to a missing part. We were told it would be top priority to finish the job. The panels were eventually completed and turned on 29 of January 24. Battery still couldn't be installed but we would be top priority to have the job completed. It's now Feb 6 and we've had our 6th date for completion and nobody showing up.
When we call the office to find out what is going on we are told somebody will call us back, not once has anybody called us back.
Its been over 2 months and we still have no idea when the system will be completed or how many more days somebody will need to take off work and then have nobody show up.

Unfortunately I booked an installation a month in advance, they were very nice and good at communicating, did a house inspection but then forgot to tell me they couldn't do the service and I was only advised when I called to confirm the installation time. They were also not good at considering better options for installation which other companies quickly found. This resulted in a month's delay for me.

We had solar panels and battery installed as part of Reposit no bills.
The good:
Professional team who knew what they were doing. Explained changes that needed to be made based on the initial proposal. The team also explained the step by step process. It took longer than expected to have the whole system installed (bad weather prevented them from getting on the roof) etc, but at the end the job was done well.
What could be improved:
There were lots of bits of ends of wires and screws lying around outdoors - I appreciate it was challenging due to rain and wind one one of the days but I thought more could have been picked up.

Highly recommend. The sales manager (Resh) took the time to explain all my options and was patient with me when requesting various amendments to the quote to tailor it to suit what I wanted, Ashlee was communicative leading up up to the install to keep me updated, and then Lincoln and the team installing it on the day took the time to work through a plan for the inverter location and cable route to suit my needs. I was left feeling they genuinely cared about my concerns/requirements and went out of their way to accommodate them. I'm not sure if Online Air and Solar had any influence with this or if I got lucky but the post install inspection was completed within 2 days (with no issues raised). Now up and running with solar. Thanks all!

My Powerwall has been installed and the entire team was professional and they did an extremely neat job. They explained everything on the day and made sure all was perfect on the Tesla app before they left. I highly recommend Online Air and Solar and getting a Powerwall with Solar. I’m very happy.

What can I say? It actually took me a while to write a review because I believe in second chances. I got my solar installed in April 2023. If I had to review the presale and sale experience I would give a 5 stars. However I think customer service and after sales service is more important than the sale process because it is after a company gets your money that you can judge if they really value you as a customer and more importantly if they hold all their promises. Since April someone was meant to contact me to explain how to use the app so I can monitor how well the system is working. I waited, waited waited. In June I sent a message to my sales person telling him how disappointed I was with the service. Straight away I got an apology and another promise someone would be in touch “shortly”. We are now almost at the end of August and I am still waiting. I let you be the judge of their so called customer service.

I purchased a Daikin ducted reverse cycle air conditioner/heater end of last year (2022) to replace our gas heater for the whole house. This was an involved installation as the electric switchboard had to be replaced as well. I am very happy with the purchase and advice from Online Air & Solar. Not only is the new system cheaper to run than our old one, but it provides efficient cooling in summer as well. The sales and installation teams were very helpful and professional. Another great experience is the after sales support I receive(d) from Online Air & Solar. I always received a quick reply when I needed help which was great and comforting. Even when the system had a serious error which turned out to be a warranty issue, Online Air & Solar's support was quick to help and they contacted Daikin so that the issue could be resolved as quickly as possible. I am grateful for their help and services and would not hesitate to chose them again.

The installers were great - went above and beyond to explain everything and answer questions - even with things not directly related to our Mitsubishi Electric split system installation - just general questions and advice about our current renovation work. Customer service also answered all our questions and got us through their streamlined quotation and acceptance process. We particularly like how they had the most competitive quote - in fact they even offered to price match if I had found a more competitive quote - all this with a 6 year installation guarantee. Very happy with the overall installation and service!

The guys from Online Air and Solar did a fantastic job, always on time or advised if they were late. From the solar panels to the battery their work, attitude, communications and friendliness was outstanding, gee they even took their shoes off when having to enter my house.
Also the office communication was fantastic, if there was an issue it was sorted and dealt with immediately.
